I’m a strategic communications leader driving impact at the intersection of artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and media. At Blackbird.AI, I lead communication and content strategy that breaks down complex AI and security concepts for diverse business audiences.
Prior, I was the national technology correspondent for CBS News. I’ve also worked in the media as a senior producer at CNET, the digital platform manager at ABC News, and a reporter for several media organizations.
I’ve produced stories from conflict regions in Africa and the Middle East; presidential primaries, debates, and conventions; the UN in New York and Geneva; and technology events such as CES, SXSW, Black Hat, and the World Economic Forum in Davos. I’ve also interviewed newsmakers like Willie Nelson and Chuck D, Nobel Peace Prize winner Maria Ressa, Secretary of State Antony Blinken, hacker Kevin Mitnick, entrepreneur Kathy Ireland, and senior officials at Google, Microsoft, Meta, among others.
I’ve has moderated panels and spoken at conferences, including the keynote address to the European Broadcasting Union’s 2023 cybersecurity seminar in Geneva, the Global Cybersecurity Summit in Kyiv, SXSW in Austin, the Talkers Talk Media event in New York City, and other events.
My career began on college radio, and I was an early innovator in podcasting and video streaming. His story Angels of Death: Gun Trafficking on the Iron Pipeline won the Donald Robinson Award for Investigative Journalism, and Inside the War on Truth won a Silver Telly Award.
